Bottles make up a huge part of our lives. There is no household in this world which is devoid of bottles. An integral part of the bottle is bottle cap. Without its cap, a bottle just would not work. A bottle cap (or bottle top) is the circular top which seals the opening of the bottle. Usually, the bottle top is of the brand colour and often displays the logo of the company that has manufactured the bottle.

Bottle caps are made of two types of materials: plastic and metal. The former is used for plastic bottles while the latter is used to seal glass ones. There are various types of caps that are in production.

One that you must be familiar with is the crown cork. It was patented on the 2nd of February, 1892 and originally had 24 teeth and a cork seal with a paper to act as a buffer between the content of the bottle and the cap. The current version of this cap has 21 teeth and requires a bottle opener to unseal the bottle.

However, the one bottle cap type which is the most common sight is the screw cap. Screw on closures are very easy to apply. It can be done via hands or through a wide variety of automated equipment. It is important that the application torque of closures be controlled in order for the closures to function accurately in the field. Closures must be fastened tight enough to secure the seal and to resist the closure from backing off, but must not be applied so firmly that the end-user is not able to remove the closure. The most commonly used material for screw caps is the foamed polyethylene (F217). The F217 is a soft polyethylene foam core covered on top and bottom with solid, transparent polyethylene supplied in 0.050-inch thickness. This plastic type has become the industry standard because of its all-purpose adaptability, resiliency, compressible seal, cleanliness (no pulp dust) and its economic production. F217 liners have excellent resistance to chemicals and a low moisture transmission rate. It also does not have a very strong taste and is odour resistant.

Our Bottle Cap Printing Machine is a singular one-of-its-kind machine with innovative technology. It is available in single as well as double colour and has a production speed of 4800 bottle caps per hour. This will give a huge boost to the efficiency of your production line and increase its functionality. It has a voltage of 220/110 volts and is equipped with a microcontroller.

This model (BTCPn-85) has a pneumatic AC drive and its power consumption varies according to the automation. It allows an air pressure of 5-6 bars with an air consumption capacity of 4.5 cubic meters per hour and an auto/semi-automatic automation grade.

The way this machine works is that the caps are first loaded onto the auto-loading tray system. The caps are filed in a single line to be prepped for positioning where they are assorted in a group of six, with two rows and three columns. Then, the caps are loaded onto a conveyor belt and go through fire treatment. The exposure of the bottle cover to fire improves its printing quality and makes for fine, detailed printing on the caps. After being subjected to heat, they go through the printer where colour is applied on top of the caps. After being printed upon, the caps go through an auto air blower which dries the fresh ink on the surface of caps and preps them to be sent out. Thus, one cycle of cap printing is completed.

We are one of the most distinguised manufacturers of superior bottle cap printing machines. The graded metal used in the manufacturing process makes our printing machines durable and extremely functional. These machines offer fully automatic operations and are reckoned for their easy handling.
